Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad was taken over by the Taj Group to convert it into a luxury hotel. The book was conceptualized by Graf Publishing with a an idea to document the palace as it was preserved in its original state before the Taj group took charge and renovated it to make it work as a hotel.
Kumkum Nadig, founder of Kena Design was involved not only in the design of the entire book, but also in pagination and production supervision. The book is in dual language, English and French. Each page of the book is designed such that text in both the languages run parallel to each other, thus providing the same immersive experience to readers of both the languages. The book is a visual treat to anyone who is interested in the architecture and interiors of Palaces inspired by the Europeans embracing Neo-classical style.
